Amp is a frog.
When we got him about a week ago, he was a tad-frole. Not a tad pole, not a frog.
He has lost his tale and is getting a little bigger. He makes the water he lives in green and stinky. He always looks sad. Sometimes he even looks dead. That is when I so violently shake his home that he lets me know he is unfortunately alive. He doesn't eat the food I got him. I do believe he likes the rocks that I've collected for him.
Do I keep him?
Secretly hope he dies?
Take him back to Egan lake?
Love him like a pet?
No.
We'll see how long he lives. But I just tried to picture life without Amp and...maybe I would miss him. Maybe not.
Well, that's for sure - No rash decisions for now.
Amp will continue being my stinker.
Oh Amp! Liven up DUDE! maybe he needs a friend.... We should go find another tad-frole, as you called it. But I think he'd have to be about the same size or AMP MIGHT EAT HIM!! Think about it.
