The start of a new life

September of 2007-Starting a new semester, in a new apartment, with new room mates, and a new ward was so exciting. But the most exciting part was meeting new boys. Our first sunday in the ward, my room mates and I spotted a group of boys. One in particular, he was the one in the pink tye-dyed shirt. On a Sunday! Everyone was talking about how cute he was, and how we needed to invite him and his room mates over for dinner. I remember thinking, "what a cocky little...He knows he's hot, and he knew everyone would notice him if he wore that shirt." And secretly I thought, "He is so attractive, won't he date me?
We eventually did have them over for dinner, played games, flirted. The semester didn't turn out the way I wanted, this cute boy didn't go on one date with me and at the end of the semester left to go home for his off track.


September of 2008-A whole year has passed. I moved into a house, and started a new ward. Again. Walking into church that first Sunday, guess who I saw? The cute boy!
Turns out that we ended up being in the same family home evening group. But still, seemed to be a dud semester. He dated someone else, as did I. But somehow, by the last 2 or so weeks of school, we were both singe. His room mates had an end of the semester party and invited our house. The whole night, Jeremy (the name of this cute boy) and I, flirted.

The entire christmas break, Jeremy and I talked on the phone everyday and texted every moment that we weren't talking.
The day I returned to Rexburg, we didn't spend one day apart, and still havent. 7 months and I have seen his gorgeous face everyday.
We were engaged after 2 months, and married after 4.
I know it seems so soon, and that it happened so quickly. But, I can't imagine life without him. He is the best thing that has and ever will happen to me.
Married life is wonderful, only because my husband is Jeremy West.
