Halloween/Thanksgiving/Last 2 months

It has been a while. Halloween has passed, Thanksgiving in Texas is gone, back to the needy greedy of school - and hello negative degree weather in Rexburg. It has been a blasty blast.

Lets start with halloween, it was fun. We carved pumpkins and Jeremy bought me candy so all in all - it was good. Jeremy and I were in debate with the identity of our pumpkin though. I won, and we got a Harry Potter pumkin pal!

Jeremy ended up being pretty happy with the results...but not before making him a redneck Harry Potter. I don't know if you can tell the little tooth he put in his mouth, because you might be distracted by Jeremys very awkward face...Thank you Jeremy.

We carved our pumkins with another couple, and after we went outside to check em out in the dark. They were pretty cool!

(Note to Harry Potter: If you have some spell that makes you glow like our pumkin, you should do it!)

So Halloween came and went, and thus the count down to Texas began. I was so excited to go home, and it was all worth it. We had such an amazing time there! It was exhausting, but great! The weather was perfect, the company was grand, and the no school thing + moms cooking = Marockin time and joyous occasions.

My cousin Andrew happened to have a play off game while we were there at the new Texas Stadium - and wow. I wouldn't mind that big screen in our apartment...even though it would be the only thing that would fit.

Other than the stadium being pretty sweet, the game was the best game ever! So intense. I love Texas football.

I got to hold Baby G for a while at the beginning too, he's so cute!!! I miss him. And it kinda looks like he's waving at you in this picture...or trying to get Jeremys attention.

This one of Jeremy and Baby G was during the talent show, I think he was trying to beat box. Geovanny, that is, not Jeremy.

They kinda look like they're related.

And this is the whole reason we went to Texas. My big beautiful family. I missed them the minute we were saying bye. We had such an amazing week, I wish it could have lasted a bit longer. I already can't wait to see them again!

Secrets

So here and there I have seen that some have multiple blogs. Some even have secret blogs...intrigue.
What a great way to form massive amounts of curiousity.
The other night, as I lay awake turning over my curious thoughts about private things in secret blogs, I thought.
I will make one. I will figure out the blog thing and I will make myself a secret blog.
It took a whole of 5 minutes, I'm smarter than I thought. Writing secrets, knowing that no one could read them. That I could write and write and write and no one would see was unlike anything I've done.
It is sort of like writing in a journal, but with much more exhiliration. It's out there for people to see that you have secrets - but they can't get to them. What a powerful feeling.
In a place where I feel or have such small amounts of power - this is quite meaningful to me.
And it's fun. Who doesn't like fun?
I'm excited for my secret blog, what a thrill.

Finally

Finally something to blog about. With school starting, and life back in Rexburg...there hasn't been much to write. Not much of an exhilarating life.
But, BUT, finally an event worth writing for.
Alright, I'm thinking about this event and I'm thinking it isn't as exciting or big as I'm making it sound. So you (whoever is reading this) should probably take the excitment level down a notch...or seven. Alright, is the level set to a 1.5?
ok good.
Every six months, during priesthood session my mom, aunts, and girl cousins all go and get their nails done while the men are away. Since I'm away and don't get to participate in the fun girl time, I though of what I could do here. So I figured Dafni and I could do something. And we did!
The boys went to priesthood and we went to Broulims!
That wasnt what we did, don't stop reading quite yet. We just went there to buy MARGARITA mix!It was a strawberry...something. All I know is that it was delish! We got sonic ice and made drinks when we got back to Dafni's apartment. I'm going to leave it a mystery as if to these drinks were virgin or not - it will make it so much more exciting.
Anypoo, Dafni and I decided that this was a redo - so hopefully in six months we'll get tipsy again.
And hopefully next week I'll have something more exciting to write about.

AAAAAnd...

I just found this super cute background, but it says happy thanksgiving right on the left over thurr. So just ignore it, or keep it in mind for November - when you've thought that I've forgetten to say Happy Thanksgiving. But wait! All of a sudden you remember that I did...well, my blog did.
Whichever you choose, don't judge me for putting this blog up in September.

bicycle rides, bad news and broken thangs

Where do I even start?
Upon our return to rexburg from Texas, we had planned to stay for 2 days and then pack up and leave again for Couer D'Alene. In those 2 days, things could not have gotten worse. We were hoping to get into an apartment that we've been on the waiting list on for about 5 months, to find out that not only are we 28 or so on the list, but that they have no vacancies left so we probably wont be considered until December or after that. Which puts us under somewhat of a financial stress. Anypoo, we got over the fact that we would be pretty poor for the next few months.
We went on a bike ride in lonesome rexburg and had a sore ars for about 37 days.
We had a few rough days, and then started our drive to Couer D'Alene. 2 and a half hours into the drive our car (that we just got) broke down. We were on the side of the road for over 6 hours until Jeremys dad came to get us. we were in the car for about 13 hours, and half of the time the car wasn't even moving.
2 days after the...fun...we decided to try the drive again.
Fortunately, we made it! We had tons of fun, until about the 3rd day when I broke my finger.
After having to drive about 20 minutes to the emergency place, and waiting about an hour - sitting with a tore up finger. I finally got seen.
I find that I really need all of my fingers, so I can't wait for it to get better.
The rest of our stay in Couer D'Alene was lovely. We really enjoyed it.
Now we're back in school and living for the weekends. I can't wait to graduate.

R.I.P stinky friend

On July 29th, 2009 Jeremy and I scurried around our apartment trying to get all of our things together for our trip to Texas. We had planned to leave at 2 pm, but of course we were running late. We finally hit the road at around 430. But in all of the madness, we forgot a very important detail. To leave amp with someone. For the near three weeks we were in Texas, I was convinced that Amp would survive. That we would find him alive and maybe even bigger than we left him. On our return, I was anxious to see amp. The first thing that I looked for when I opened the door to our apartment was my little pet. I found all of the water dried up in his home, and amp was sqwished between a rock and one of the walls. He was all dried up like a little raisen. How many days did he suffer until he died? I was so sad, and surprisingly so was Jeremy.
I just realized that we didn't even have a moment of silence!
We're monsters.
So, now amp is dead and Rexburg days keep getting worse.
But - in memory of Amp. Here are a couple of pictures.
Goodbye stinky.
